The pregame lasts about 8 hours, so you'll need plenty of snacks.
This appetizer is the equivalent of a pregame stretch. Super easy, relaxing, and totally good for you. Grab your veggie tray and fill it up like normal, then mix a tablespoon of your favorite BDF hot sauce in with your favorite veggie dip. Done.
We've worked our way up to a light jog. Ease into it. Grab some crackers, spread some cream cheese on them and add a dollop of BDF Ghost Pineapple to each!
You need to get loosened up before the game starts but you don’t have time for anything too fancy. Add a few shakes of BDF Habanero Peach hot sauce to any old Bloody Mary mix and BAM! You’re a mixologist now.
because pregame wasn't long enough
Warm-ups are over and it’s time for the National Anthem of Super Bowl snacks. Grab a jar of Alfredo sauce or make your own, then blend in 1/4th cup of hot sauce to each cup of Alfredo you use….take a little taste and add Alfredo or hot sauce to get the flavor where you want it. Roll those chicken wings around in the mix and bake or grill the wings to perfection.
Whether you are bacon wrapping tater tots, little smokies, shrimp or even pineapple chunks, you can add a ton of sweet spicy flavor by combining BDF Habanero Peach hot sauce with brown sugar. Brush that on the bacon before cooking it.
Bake the bacon to optimize the “candied” flavor.
Wrap whatever needs wrapped, and settle in for kickoff!
We’ve all had a buffalo chicken dip; you’ve probably got a “go to” recipe handy. Well sub out the buffalo sauce for BDF Habanero Peach and BOOM! Buffalo dip becomes Brown Dog Chicken Cheese Dip. Perfect for commercial breaks.
The spiciest part of every Super Bowl!
We were going to create a recipe and call it Brown Surprise Chili, but yeah, that sounds terrifying. Instead, we love this recipe from Iowa Girl Eats… so what’s the surprise? Adding your favorite BDF hot sauce at the end. Now that’s what we call a Super Bowl!
This is the only item you will need for a successful halftime.
At this point you are just showing off
Blend ¼ cup tahini + 2 tablespoons olive oil + 1 tablespoon lemon juice + 1 tablespoon minced garlic + ½ teaspoons of cumin, cayenne pepper and salt + ¼ teaspoon sesame oil + tablespoon of your favorite BDF hot sauce until smooth. Add a can of rinsed and drained Garbanzo beans and blend some more. Add a couple tablespoons of water to make it fluffier. Chill and serve with pita chips! This makes a great “I shouldn’t be eating anymore” snack.
All bites, no bark! Again, we are just going to take an existing recipe and add some BDF flavor to it. Follow this recipe, and when it asks for hot sauce – you know what to do! These can really spice up a veggie tray or they are great all on their own! Best thing about them, you can always go for 2!
Now for the bad news..... Tomorrow is Monday
